Skyline Audio Productions can perform digital mastering to CD-R that will give your recordings punch, depth, and clarity for that final polish before duplication. The mastering process includes compression, equalization, noise reduction, volume maximization, and song and spacing layout. Mastering will make your music sound professional and ready for radio broadcast. Skyline can also convert your audio recordings to mp3 and other compressed audio formats. Our restoration processes can clean up cassette tape or vinyl recordings and transfer them to Compact Disc for more enjoyable and convenient listening. Audio restoration will reduce tape hiss, background noise and some pops and clicks, and will increase the audio quality.
Skyline Audio Productions is primarily a tracking and mixing environment. We do have dedicated mastering gear, and have many years of experience in the art of mastering. However, we do not claim to be a mastering facility. While we can provide mastering that is very close to, and often times equivalent to major label releases, certain projects may be best suited to being sent to an outside mastering house.
Mastering and restoration work are quoted on an individual project basis. Mastering is provided at no charge to Skyline clients who record and mix their music at our studio.
